    • James Swoap and Susan Crone probably divorced in the 1890's. James apparently moved on to Tyler, Texas where he married Julia Burks. James, however, was in failing health and a few years later was admitted to the "old soldiers" home in Ohio where he passed away. Susan remarried to Thomas DeHaven and remained in Michigan until her death.
