Notes - Obituary: RENO NURSE DIES; WELL KNOWN HERE. Mrs. Edith May Evans, well known Reno nurse, wife of Karl L. Evans, died late yesterday at a local hospital following an illness of several days. She underwent an operation last week for intestinal trouble caused from appendicitis.
Mrs. Evans has been a resident of Reno for four years and had a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Prior to her marriage to Mr. Evans four months ago, she was Mrs. Edith May Miller.
Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Hugh L. Miller, who is in the naval service and Ruth L. Miller of Aurora, N.Y. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sweetapple, of New York, and two sisters also survive. She was nearly forty years old and a native of New York.
